Hope someone can help me with this.

I would really like to avoid allowing users to upload images/documents to a folder on the system.
Is there anyway of restricting users to uploading into a library (i.e. the database) only?

The reason for this, in case anyone is wondering, is we fear we will wipe all images & documents on the file system whenever we need to re-publish the entire site from development to production.

    Hi Richard Leung,

Since Sitefinity 3.7 SP3 release there is a new FileStreaming provider that allows you to upload in the File system or in the database. You can gather more information about the new provider at How to enable the Files provider for Images and Documents module in Sitefinity 3.7 SP3

If your requirement differs somehow from the suggestion above, let me know.

    Best wishes,
