    We're almost finished with our site and are just putting in some attractive Silverlight content.

    We have put Silverlight 1 content in fine, by creating a .ascx file for each Silverlight item and dropping it in to the page as a content element. This works perfectly.

    We thought we would use the RadCoverFlow component for one part for the site, which requires Silverlight 2. This is at:

    The application is at:

    This works fine in IE and Chrome (albeit with a large white area underneath in Chrome which we still have to figure out), but not at all in Firefox. The status bar just sits with "Transferring data".

    In testing, I found that the <script> with the error handler needs to stay in the <head> when used with Firefox. (A frustration when I have to split the Silverlight across a reusable component and a static .master file in SiteFinity). This is now the case with the example page. All my local tests work fine, except the test site shown above. The only difference is: it is IIS6 + SiteFinity 3.6. I have placed the required MIME types in IIS 6.

    What could be causing this?

    Hello Nathan J Pledger,

    You could try this: write your onerror handler in a seperate js file, then use it with JsFileLink server tag which will render it in the header tag of the html page. Something like this:

    <%@ Register Assembly="Telerik.Cms.Web.UI" Namespace="Telerik.Cms.Web.UI" TagPrefix="sfWeb" %>
    <sfWeb:JsFileLink ID="JssFileLink1" runat="server" FileName="silverlightOnError.js" />

    Tell us if this isn't a solution for you.

    Is it possible to embed both content and a silverlight application into a single custom widget?

    Hi Nathan ,

    You can use ASP.NET Silverlight control to reference the Silverlight xap file or you can use java script to do this.

    Best wishes,
