I'm trying to integrate ASPDotNetStorefront with Sitefinity.  They both have their own set of login functionalities.  With Role manager turned on, when I go to any page with storefront security I get:

Unable to cast object of type 'System.Web.Security.RolePrincipal' to type 'AspDotNetStorefrontCommon.AspDotNetStorefrontPrincipal'.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.InvalidCastException: Unable to cast object of type 'System.Web.Security.RolePrincipal' to type 'AspDotNetStorefrontCommon.AspDotNetStorefrontPrincipal'.

All the postings on Storefront as well as Support say that they need Role Manager turned off.  Anyone able to get Sitefinity to work with Roll Manager disabled?

    Hi Eric,

The current version of Sitefinity could not work with Role Manager turned off. We will try changing this in the future, in order to remove this dependency.
