Sitefinity is great, but I wish I could provide an administrative web page for my web designer to edit the style sheets online without using VPN and a text editor.

I was trying to configure the RADeditor to do this, but it removes indentation, line breaks, etc.

I made a crude editor page with the RADFile control and a textbox to allow the editing of a style sheet and a master file simultaneously, but you can't preserve position within the textbox on postback (clicking to save).

The RADEditor or some other control would be preferred for a better user experience.

Has anyone else attempted to do this?   Does anyone know how to configure the RADEditor to act like a text editor without stripping any characters and without converting blanks and new lines to HTML?

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Hello Richard Winslow,

You could try to turn On/Off some of the filters of the RadEditor control - Content Filters, so that the content will/will not be altered.

I have tried turning off filters (none) and tried selectively using filters but since this is an HTML editor and not a text editor, there are some inherent issues:

    1) line breaks and white space are removed
    2) intentional line breaks and white space are rendered as HTML

I can apply logic to replace line breaks and white space with 'intentional' HTML when populating the RADEditor.content and reverse it when I go to save, but I was hoping there was a cleaner way.

    Hello Richard Winslow,

You could implement a custom filter. The RadEditor content area is editable Iframe.
