    Hi guys,

We have a site that has both English and Chinese languages. When logged into the admin the URL has /en/ if viewing the english version, however if I goto some generic content and click edit there is an error:

    Cannot find template "~/Sitefinity/Admin/ControlTemplates/Generic_Content/ContentEditView.ascx".

I think because the URL it is looking for to go and edit the GC does not have the /en/ in it.

Any ideas why this is happening or how I can fix it?

    Hello Jodie,

The error says that the template - ~/Sitefinity/Admin/ControlTemplates/Generic_Content/ContentEditView.ascx could not be found in your solution. Please check the ~/Sitefinity/Admin/ControlTemplates/Generic_Content folder.
This template is an external resource and most probably you have used it before. The template could be mapped only through App_Data/Configuration/Telerik.Sitefinity.Configuration.ControlsConfig.xml, so you could remove the <viewSettings> used to map the template from ControlsConfig file and restart the application.
