Has anyone tried developing a sitefinity site with any of the 2008 products, targeted for 2.0?

I did a quick conversion and cranked up a vanilla sitefinity install in debug mode and it ran with no problems. In fact the only issue I noticed was Nolics.NET not working in 2008. Speaking of which, do they plan on supporting VS 2008?

    Hi Grant Means,

Yes, unfortunately, Nolics.net does not support VS 2008 and we still have no information when it will be available.
You can also ask them on support@nolics.net.

Check out SubSonic Project. It works out pretty good for me and it's free. As far as I know it also works on VS 2008.

    Good luck

    Hi,

We just received the information from Nolics - they plan to add Visual Studio 2008 support in March.

Thank you for the suggestion, Tim. We will check it out.

Actually it's not necessary to use Nolics.net for building your custom modules. Even, if you prefer, you could create your own data access layer.
