I have a fully functional custom siteMenu and SiteTreeView control in my current sitefinity 3.7 website.  I need to move to 4.0 and quickly.  These custom controls are built in .net 3.5 and contain skins, clientside javascript code as well as other server side code needed in order to accomplish the look & feel for my website.

I've noticed i don't have nearly as much control with the built in navigation control of sitefinity 4.0 and wanted to know:

    1) Whats the best approach to convert my 3.7 custom controls to 4.0
    2) Where is sitefinity 4.0 looking when you give it a skinId and does it follow the same skinning that the radcontrols used in sitefinity 3.7

*edit. Is there any documentation or samples on how to use the custom navigation template option?
    Thx
    Michael

n/m figured it out.  Would be nice though to have some more documentation on the sitemapdatasource that gets automatically bound to the navigation template because even though i had pages at the top level marked as do not show in navigation they would still show up.
