    Hi All,

We've got an existing site that's built in classic ASP. We're in the process of evaluating different content management systems to migrate the site to.

One of the things we really want to see happen is for staff to be able to send an updated document over to our editor, and for him to be able to quickly see what's been changed. What we envision is a Word-style "track-changes" type feature, where changes are highlighted.

We've looked at several add-on modules for DotNetNuke, and none of the ones I've found can do version differencing. Some of them have mentioned that they plan to add this feature in the future, but it's anyone's guess when this feature will actually make it into a public release.

I checked out the demo for SiteFinity, and I didn't see a way to do this, so I thought I'd double check... is this a feature that SiteFinity has?

I posted for the forums about this as well:

    Hello Joshua,

We have versioning option for content items and pages. This allows you to rollback and compare to previous versions. Every time a user modifies some content, a copy is created in the Database – the old version is not deleted, but stored together with the newer versions. The exact changes are not tracked as details though.
