Is there a way to use the built in Sitefinity Membership and Role providers in another website?

Essentially a client is running a Sitefinity based website but they are not happy with the features provided through the forum module and want to switch to YAF (
However, they want to keep the login as a single share system so I'm looking at replacing the YAF Membership and Role providers with the Sitefinity providers but still keeping the YAF Profile provider.

I don't know if you're familiar with YAF and so could provide clues to an alternative approach to integrating Sitefinity with YAF?
I've copied the Telerik.DataAccess.dll and Nolics.Engine.v4.2.dll files across and copied the Membership and Role blocks across from the Sitefinity web.config file along with a suitable connection string to the Sitefinity database but I just get the error that it can't load the Telerik.DataAccess.AspnetProviders.TelerikRoleProvider type so presumably theres further dependencies I'm missing.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hello Darren,

Thank you for using our services.

There is a reference to Telerik.Framework.dll. Please move this assembly to the new project. I hope that this will fix the problem.

    Sincerely yours,
    Ivan Dimitrov

I've picked up the Telerik.DataAccess dll and the Nolics.Engine.v4.2.dll and Telerik.Framework dll and copied them to my MVC application bin folder.  I'm using Membership, Profile and Roles from Telerik.  Still missing something.

    Hi John White,

Could you please show us your web.confing? Do you have the dataaccess section configured?
