I am configuring a new project in sitefinity 3.7 and I want to set SqlExpress option to have a database stored in file without using any database server. Although when I check this option, installer askes me to enter name of the SQL Server Instance, What should I type there and  why does installer wants access to database server if the data is going to be stored in mdf file? Of course I have MS SQL server installer, but when I typed its instance name (MSSQLSERVER) I get an error 25 (I've included screenshot with this error). What should I do to configure sitefinity to store data in the mdf file?

    Hi Maciej Skiba,

Thank you for using our services.

We distribute Sitefinity with a built in SQLExpress database. It is located in ~/App_Data/ directory. When you select this option you should not type in anything additional - the instance name is automatically populated. You should only make sure that the identity of the application pool in which your Sitefinity website will be running has full control over the App_Date directory.

    All the best,
