Is there a way to just make simple layouts in the WebApp project?

    Hi Steve,

    1. You should inherit from LayoutControl
    2. Generally we use embedded resource that is returned into Layout property that has to be overridden.

The class library is better option when you want to distribute your project and move it to the production.

    All the best,
