It would be nice to have a general log (to a table in the database) available to developers.  Particularly I would like to be able to track actions that happen in the Admin sections of my custom modules (just in case anybody screws anything up).  But I would imagine it could be used to log arbitrary messages by the developer.  Per-module logging would be nice, so we can put the log in with the module's admin GUI.

I don't believe you have anything for this - I could be wrong.  I saw the Telerik.Utilities.Log class has some static methods, but those appear to be for Event logging.

    Hello Dave,

Thank you for describing the feature that you want to see in Sitefinity. The first thing we should do about it is to expand the list of the events that could be fired now, so we could be sure there will be no actions that cannot be logged. You are absolutely right that Telerik.Utilities.Log is used now for logging the exceptions into the log file.
    We will discuss your suggestion.
