    Hi Guys,

I had a brainwave (I know they don't come very often)...

I am sure this is somewhat similar to what you had in version 2.7 of SF.

I was thinking wouldn't it be great in some instances to be able to add a control to a template that a user can't remove but can have access to a edit certain properties that they can change but only those properties.

An example is that you add an Image control to the template but don't set the ImageUrl.  But you want the users whenever they create a page that derives from that template to be able to set the ImageUrl.  So maybe it would be possible for you to define a Custom Attribute that can be applied to properties.

    string ImageUrl

I know this isn't a trivial thing and I am sure you have probably got better solutions than this.   But thought it was something I would throw out there.

But it doesn't hurt to ask these things.

All on the same brainwave length here, Sean.
We've had similar requests and considered implementing this but, as you know, there are quite a lot of other goodies waiting in line. So we can't commit to any time frames yet.

    Best wishes,
